It Happens Every Year About This Time…

This year L gives way to LI.

Nothing of shattering import to the autism community, but, it’s my birthday. Long ago the fire marshall advised a move to symbolic representation on the cake. For those keeping track, that would be 51 candles this year…

Nothing much planned, I mean, I’m going to go to work like usual…

And I don’t feel a day over 50! :-)

At any rate, Happy Birthday to me!

[update:] Amanda’s birthday was yesterday…

    Congrats! :)

My parents are both in their 50s but are more around the mid-50s mark than the early 50s. ;)

Happy, happy birthday! Older, wiser, better.

Sometimes we get the numeral candles, but we only get 0s and 1s and do it in binary. :)

I caught grief from a cashier around my husband’s 32nd birthday; she called it a “million” when it was only actually one hundred thousand in base ten, and the dinosaur decorations didn’t exactly help her attitude about me, either.

    Thanks, everybody!

Wiser? I’m hoping to keep from going backwards, Kristina. ;-)

And dinosaur decorations and binary birthdays? I like that, Julia!
