Vacation Time
We will be out of town for a bit so Aspie Mom can attend a scientific get together and all do some needed recreating. One thing we plan on doing is driving parts of the ‘Mother Road,’ Route 66. We should be back on the 2nd or 3rd of July.
It may well be that I will be able to update from the hotel, but I don’t want to count on it and we couldn’t get a straight answer. We’ve been disappointed before.
One thing I fail to understand is why a geeky conference in a fairly geeky town would book their accomodatiions in a hotel with non-existent (or expensive, like $10/day) net connectivity. All you have to advertise is ‘wireless included with the room’ and a substantial demographic will seek your lodgings out. At least, it seem that way to me.
But then, I’m autistic, so I am not a very good judge of what the vast majority of people might do.
